The Who This release features the final night of the band’s 1969 American tour, recorded on June 19th at the Fillmore West. The residency spanned June 17th, 18th, and 19th—with two shows held on both the 17th and 18th—and this final performance is truly exceptional. The band members were highly motivated, with Pete in particularly fine form, delivering powerful guitar work that makes this a standout concert, unique to this specific period. As a bonus, the set includes 14 tracks from a London performance during the European tour that December, sourced from soundboard (SBD) recordings. The sound quality throughout is consistently excellent, utilizing either direct line recordings or superb audience-sourced audio.
