Direct transfer from the original analog tape

A rare collection of audio sources from the original U.K. analog tapes of *Revolver*—the timeless masterpiece released by The Beatles during a pivotal era of change in 1966—arrives from the BEATFILE label! This release features direct transfers of two formats that began production in the UK in 1970: the 8-track stereo cartridge and the open-reel monaural tape. The first half presents the 8-track tape, which features a significantly reordered tracklist and a dynamic stereo sound with a sonic texture distinct from that of the vinyl record. The second half contains the open-reel tape in its original monaural mix, offering the unique monaural sound characteristic of analog tape. Both are highly sought-after collector's items, preserving analog recordings that are now difficult to obtain!
