This release features a soundboard recording of the first of two shows performed in New York on May 2, 1981, during the second leg of Ozzy Osbourne's *Blizzard of Ozz* tour. Although the tour began in April 1981, this performance marks the tenth show of the run; by this point, the band had gelled, delivering a truly superb and polished live set. Randy Rhoads had fully established himself as the face of the band alongside Ozzy, showcasing incredibly solid guitar work. Two demo tracks from the *Blizzard of Ozz* sessions (recorded in 1980) are included as bonus tracks. The audio quality is excellent, sourced from a second-generation master tape, and includes the opening and closing crowd cheers as well as the encore applause.
