The "Necromancer" series—which reissues rare titles from niche, handmade, collector-focused labels using official master recordings—now features "Headless Hawk," one of the premier collector labels in the jazz world. These rare titles are being reintroduced at an accessible price point, complete with a special reissue emblem and newly designed back cover art.
This release captures a live soundboard performance by the Marc Copland Quartet, featuring the intellectual and highly acclaimed guitarist John Abercrombie—a key figure on the ECM label, much like Pat Metheny. A must-listen for fans of ECM and guitar-driven jazz.
