And that's no surprise, as this recording was actually known among collectors at the time for its high-quality sound.
This release uses a master with a different generation than those circulating at the time, resulting in a richer, more natural sound.
The Kanazawa performance, with one less track, is often overlooked during the 2009 tour.
However, knowing the "nightmare of Yokohama," the fact that this performance was successful is a welcome relief.
The cheerful and heartwarming atmosphere of the venue is the drama of this release.
Yokohama was an unprecedentedly tense performance in Jeff Beck's history of visits to Japan, while Kanazawa was warm and welcoming.
