This release features a soundboard (SB) recording of the concert held at the Nagoya Civic Assembly Hall in Nagoya on October 9, 1985—Eric Clapton's sixth tour of Japan. While most recordings from the 1985 Japan tour captured the Tokyo shows at Yoyogi National Gymnasium—and were typically audience recordings—this release documents a performance in the regional city of Nagoya and features high-quality soundboard audio. The setlist, drawn from the tour supporting his 1985 album *Behind the Sun*, includes tracks from the new record such as "She's Waiting," "Same Old Blues," and "Tangled In Love," alongside classic hits like "I Shot The Sheriff," "Wonderful Tonight," and "Double Trouble." The show has a warm, intimate atmosphere, highlighted by backing vocalist Marcy Levy taking the lead on "Hold On Me." Although audience recordings of the 1985 Nagoya show have circulated in the past, they were often disappointing in quality; this soundboard recording is therefore a rare and valuable find. While there are some minor sonic instabilities and the crowd noise is only faintly audible, the 1985 Japan tour is highly acclaimed for its excellent performances, making this an essential release for Eric Clapton fans.
