DIO 1986 second performance in Japan August 30th Hokkaido Kousei Nenkin Kaikan: Sapporo This release features a live performance in Japan. It marked Ronnie’s return to Sapporo for the first time in 12 years—his previous visit having been in 1978 as a member of Rainbow. The Sapporo audience’s intense enthusiasm, combined with Ronnie’s own high level of motivation, resulted in a powerful performance. The setlist includes a mix of tracks from his time with Rainbow and Black Sabbath, offering a top-tier hard rock experience. As a bonus, 11 tracks from a 2005 concert in Belgium are included, sourced from a soundboard (SBD) recording. The main concert recording is an audience (AUD) capture; while the microphone position seems somewhat distant, the recording conveys a strong sense of presence, allowing the listener to fully enjoy the power of the live show.
