This release captures Deep Purple’s performance at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki on December 7, 2011, during their 2011 Nordic tour. A key feature of this tour was that some shows were performed with a full orchestra—a collaboration partially documented in official releases. This specific recording features one of those orchestral performances in Finland, showcasing a slightly different setlist and including the full encore. As this was the final show of the orchestral collaboration, the performance is exceptionally polished; Ian’s vocals are in great form, and Steve Morse is playing at his absolute best, making this a highly enjoyable release. The sound quality is excellent and consistent, sourced from a soundboard (SBD) recording.
