This release captures the performance from Aerosmith's March 20, 1973 show at Paul's Mall in Boston, Massachusetts, during their American tour. The tour was launched to promote their debut album (released in January), and the performance recorded here directly conveys the raw energy and intensity unique to that specific era of the band—fresh off their major-label debut. Their simple yet powerful rock 'n' roll sound is superb, making for a highly enjoyable show. Two bonus tracks—a studio live performance from Connecticut in September of the same year—are included as soundboard (SBD) recordings. The audio quality is excellent throughout, utilizing soundboard sources to deliver a stable, high-fidelity listening experience.
