This release features a live performance by Aerosmith from April 26, 2019—the final night of their 18-show residency at the Park Theater at Park MGM in Las Vegas, Nevada. Following in the footsteps of many other artists who have held residencies in Las Vegas, Aerosmith took to the stage for their own series of shows; this recording captures the very last night of that run. The performance is incredibly powerful, clearly conveying the high level of motivation among the band members. Guitarist Joe Perry, in particular, is in top form, remaining fully energized and locked into the groove from start to finish. The fluid guitar work is superb, and the setlist—a lively mix of classic and contemporary hits—makes for an absolutely fantastic live performance. Although drummer Joey Kramer is absent due to an injury, the show remains top-tier. Three tracks from the April 13th concert are included as bonus tracks. As for the sound quality, while it is an audience recording, it originates from an excellent source; the audio is clear, immersive, and consistently high-quality throughout.
