It captures the 1983 Japan tour performance from the *Saints & Sinners* era, featuring the lineup of David Coverdale, Mel Galley, Jon Lord, Cozy Powell, and Colin Hodgkinson. While it is a shame that some scratch noise is noticeable in places, the overall sound quality is excellent!

This release captures a Whitesnake concert in Japan featuring Cozy Powell on drums and Jon Lord on keyboards. The setlist is essentially a "greatest hits" show, packed with classic tracks familiar to fans of the band's mid-period output. For an audience recording from that era, the sound quality is decent and easy to listen to, with analog noise that isn't particularly distracting. From the opening of Disc 1, the band delivers a commanding performance that instantly captivates the audience. You can hear the solo by Micky Moody—who anchored the band during its mid-period—on one of their classic tracks; while the song was later remade into a hit, this version is the original. Cozy’s solo on Disc 2 is truly full-scale and simply amazing. That track, too, would be remade later, but listening to it now evokes a wave of nostalgia. For old-school fans who cherish the early-80s Whitesnake lineup as the definitive version, this is a release that truly stirs the heart.
