The source material consists of multi-angle footage originally filmed for the stage's big screens that was leaked by insiders; however, this release has been edited to focus almost exclusively on the band members themselves, omitting the distracting stock imagery often found in such recordings.

Although the Van Halen set inexplicably begins in black-and-white before switching to color at the start of "(Oh) Pretty Woman," the footage remains an absolute gem—undeniably the definitive, complete pro-shot recording from the era following David Lee Roth's return.
