TOTO, having disbanded in 2008, reunited to support their longtime bandmate Mike Porcaro in his battle against illness. This release features a complete recording of the September 21st show in Amagasaki—part of their first Japan tour in three years—captured with superb sound quality that delivers immense power and a vivid, "you-are-there" atmosphere.
The lineup features an all-star cast, including Steve Porcaro (visiting Japan for the first time in 25 years), popular third-generation vocalist Joseph Williams, and the renowned bassist Nathan East. Longtime fans will be especially delighted by the live show featuring the classic TOTO twin-keyboard lineup of Paich and Porcaro! The concert kicks off with the majestic instrumental "Child’s Anthem," the opening track from their debut album. The setlist offers a perfect balance of songs from the Joseph era and timeless classics, all enhanced by the kind of spectacular live arrangements that are a TOTO trademark—making for a thoroughly captivating experience from start to finish. A mid-set highlight is the performance of "Human Nature"—a song composed by Steve Porcaro and famously recorded by Michael Jackson.
