This new CD comes from Outsider Bird, a prestigious German label specializing in Rolling Stones releases. It is the latest installment in the "Bird's Vault" series, which has been releasing studio session recordings over the past few years. This release captures a recording session led by Keith Richards at the Pathé Marconi Studios in France in February 1985, spanning a runtime equivalent to about two LPs. The material originates from the sessions for the *Dirty Work* album and is compiled from two sources: a stereo soundboard recording and a direct cassette recording made right next to Keith's amplifier in the studio. The sound quality is excellent for recordings from this era.

As the tracklist reveals, the disc is packed with previously unheard songs. It also features the eye-catching, unique artwork characteristic of this label's specialized limited-edition cardboard sleeves. This is a top-tier collector's item that fans and collectors simply cannot afford to miss.
