"Solo Years Anthology" traces the individual paths of the four Beatles members chronologically following the band's 1970s breakup. Comprising rare audio—such as hard-to-find promotional singles and versions not included on standard albums—this compilation offers a unique, enthusiast-focused tracklist that goes beyond the typical "greatest hits" collection, even while featuring key songs. This Ringo Starr compilation focuses exclusively on his solo work from the 1970s. It opens with a TV performance of "Octopus's Garden" from the final days of the Beatles and includes mono film versions of "Sentimental Journey" and "Beaucoups of Blues." Also featured are rare mono and edited versions—originally available only on 1970s promotional singles—of tracks such as "Photograph," "You're Sixteen," "Only You," "No No Song," and "Lipstick Traces." Rounding out the collection are three songs from the children's album *Scouse the Mouse* (originally a limited UK-only release).
