This release features a live performance by Rainbow at the Sweden Rock Festival on June 8, 2019. It is part of Rainbow’s 2019 tour, which began with a show in Finland on June 6. This release captures a performance from a long-running, traditional rock festival in Sweden. Ritchie and the rest of the band are in fine form; vocalist Ronnie, in particular, shows significant growth as a singer. Ritchie, meanwhile, delivers his signature, unhurried guitar style—featuring spontaneous, improvisational flourishes that only he could pull off—proving once again why he remains an eternal guitar hero. The set includes a stellar rendition of the band’s best material. As a bonus track, a performance of "Stargazer" from the opening night of the 2019 tour in Finland is also included. The sound quality is excellent—derived from a high-quality audience recording that offers remarkable clarity and a direct, "up-close" feel. It is free from distracting audience noise, ensuring a consistently high-quality listening experience.
