This title captures the Memphis concert from the 2000 Hit N Run Tour on Blu-ray disc, preserving the original audience-shot footage without any loss in quality.

Filmed by an audience member positioned on the left side of the stage, the main performance is clearly visible. However, there are moments when a large speaker obstructs the view while Prince is on the left side of the stage. Although there is slight blurring and brief flashes of black-and-white footage, the filming itself is very steady, resulting in excellent overall video quality.

It is a delight to watch the opening medley—starting with John Blackwell’s rapid-fire drumming on "Uptown"—in such great footage that keeps the focus squarely on Prince. The set features Prince on piano, Geneva's dance (exclusive to this tour), and Najee on saxophone and flute. Sporting long hair and a purple suit, Prince delivers a performance that, while understated in its flashiness, showcases his brilliant dancing alongside his vocals. The show offers thrilling unpredictability—from the driving guitar opening of "I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man" to the sudden transition into "Do Me, Baby" amidst Kip Blackshire’s scat vocals. Even the mellower tracks possess a jazzy flair, perfectly complemented by Prince’s signature shouts and dazzling stage presence. The interplay—almost like a dance—between Prince and Geneva during "The Beautiful Ones" is a highlight, as is the spotlight on Rhonda’s upright bass. Najee delivers a masterful, soulful saxophone performance on "Nothing Compares 2 U." After a mysterious, electro-style "Interlude," the rock energy returns; the brief drum solo by John inserted between "Let's Go Crazy" and "Take Me With U" is a brilliant touch. On "Raspberry Beret," Prince plays acoustic guitar while leading the audience in a sing-along. During the bouncy "Darling Nikki," there is a moment where Prince playfully positions his face against Geneva’s short skirt. The set flows into a jazzy sequence: an instrumental version of "Computer Blue" (featuring Najee’s lovely sax) leads into "The One," a slow version of "I Would Die 4 U," and finally "God (Instrumental)," which highlights a sax solo by Najee. Thunder rumbles and "Purple Rain" is performed solemnly—but that isn't the end; the drums kick back in for "When Will We Be Paid?" Noting that there is still time and more hits to play, Prince launches into a jazzy rendition of "Pop Life." Then comes a hip-hop-style intro sampling Prince’s own music, followed by a bass solo and a funk jam, culminating in an electrifying performance of "Kiss" with audience members invited onto the stage. "Gett Off" is also performed. This Blu-ray release captures the 2000 "Hit N Run" tour with exceptional content and picture quality.
