This is a collection of rare Prince footage. It includes music videos and streaming clips from the 3rdEyeGirl era, a cover of "Let's Go Crazy" by Janelle Monáe, the rare "Rhythm Of Your Heart" by Mayte, the full-length music video for "Face Down," pro-shot footage from *Glam Slam Ulysses*, and a significant amount of other lesser-known material.

Also included is the documentary *The Minneapolis Sound*. Produced by the American regional public broadcaster KTCA, this authentic music documentary captures the local music scene of the era. It first aired in 1988, and a partially re-edited version was later rebroadcast in 2019 as part of a PBS historical series; this release features the original 1988 version. Producer and narrator Emily Goldberg explores the city from a first-person perspective, seeking to uncover the true nature of the Minneapolis music scene that took the world by storm in the 1980s. Emily attempts to interview Prince—the pinnacle of that scene—but is repeatedly rebuffed, as he consistently refuses to participate. In his place, the film features rare, early-career footage and interviews with key figures who supported Prince, as well as other local legends representing the funk, pop, and post-punk sounds of the time, including members of The Time, The Replacements, and Hüsker Dü. Other appearances include Nelson George, Alexander O'Neal, Sheila E., The Jets, and more. There are no subtitles (including Japanese).

The collection includes a June 16, 2010, performance by GCS at B.B. King’s, featuring a guest appearance by Prince—his guitar work is absolutely electrifying. While some segments suffer from audio dropouts, the inclusion of various audience-shot clips makes this the definitive record of that particular event.

The audience-shot footage of Amy Winehouse is blurry, but it is exceptionally rare. Prince’s guitar, rich with sustain, resonates as if soaring into the heavens—a truly moving experience.

*The Cosmic Video Collection* includes a menu screen that allows you to select individual clips; however, it is not possible to navigate by specific songs. Furthermore, there is no option to play all the videos in sequence; you must select and watch each clip individually.
