Primal Scream, led by Bobby Gillespie, toured Japan in support of their 10th album, *More Light*! This release captures the second night of their Tokyo run—part of their first standalone Japanese tour in five years—held on November 6, 2013. It features a complete recording with superb sound quality that delivers immense power and a vivid sense of being there.
This is a high-quality release featuring the meticulous mastering characteristic of the Sylph label. This tour marked the debut of new female bassist Simone Butler following Mani's departure. The setlist is deeply satisfying, blending tracks from the new album with plenty of their classic hits. Bobby’s vocals are razor-sharp, and the band delivers a tight, seasoned performance that hits all the right notes—a true testament to their veteran status! For the encore, the band treated the crowd to a trio of tracks from *Screamadelica*—"Loaded," "Come Together," and "Movin' on Up"—sending longtime fans into a frenzy. With a rock 'n' roll sound that is simpler and more upbeat than ever, this magnificent, full-throttle two-hour performance is an absolute must-listen for any fan! Sylph Records presents this commemorative release, featuring stunning cover art and superb sound quality!
