--- This release features the "Early Show" from August 31, 1979, at the Oakland Auditorium in Oakland, California, recorded during the US tour supporting the album *Where I Should Be*. It captures a period when Frampton had skyrocketed to stardom following the massive global success of *Frampton Comes Alive!*, showcasing a performance where he displays a confident, relaxed ease. The set also includes songs featuring a horn section. While the live recordings from 1977—the peak of the *Comes Alive!* era—were often dominated by the high-pitched screams of the audience, this release allows listeners to fully appreciate the superb musicianship of Peter Frampton in a live setting. Also included as a bonus is the 1977 Oakland performance from the time when the whole world was captivated by the "pretty boy" image of Peter Frampton.
