The "Necromancer" series—which reissues rare titles from handmade, collector-focused labels (originally circulated only within very limited circles) using official master recordings—now expands to include the "Black Lodge" DVD line. These rare titles are being re-released at an accessible price point, marked with a special reissue emblem.

This release features a professional-shot live performance by Jan Garbarek, a renowned saxophonist synonymous with the ECM label. Recorded in 2002 in Norway—the heartland of ECM—the footage boasts exceptionally high quality for its time. A professional-shot live performance from 1990 is also included as a bonus track. Both feature German pianist Rainer Brüninghaus and Eberhard Weber—a cornerstone of the ECM label—making them well worth checking out. On the bonus track, the drummer is replaced by percussionist Nana Vasconcelos.
