This recording captures the concert held on October 24, 1997, at the Green Arena in Hiroshima—Eric Clapton's 13th tour of Japan. Although this performance took place during the latter half of the tour, the band delivers a highly energetic and powerful show. The performance is characterized by a great sense of momentum and a fast-paced, driving feel. Eric's guitar work truly shines, particularly during the electric numbers. With only the Nagoya show on October 25th remaining, you can sense the band's determination and spirit; while Eric's voice cracks occasionally, the overall quality of the performance is excellent, making for a highly enjoyable listening experience. Regarding sound quality: despite being an audience recording, there is no muddiness—the sound is clear, the instruments are well-balanced, and the audio packs a powerful punch. It is a shame that there is a single audio skip during "Before You Accuse Me," but otherwise, the recording allows you to fully appreciate the overwhelming intensity of the performance.
