DAVID BOWIE / Year Of The Diamond Dog (2DVDR)

This is a collection of footage from 1973 to 1974 of David Bowie.
Disc 1 includes "1980 Floor Show", his last performance with the Spiders, broadcast on Midnight Special.
It also includes footage of his appearance on the Dick Cavett Show in December 1974, the Dutch program "Toppop" in early 1974, and professional shots of commercial footage for the album that was broadcast around that year.
The second half of the disc recreates the 1974 North American tour by reconstructing various live shots such as Cracked Actor, news material, and silent 8mm.
Although there are some parts where the video and sound are not synchronized, I think you can get a sense of the atmosphere of the 1974 tour, which became more soulful.
Disc 2 contains about 100 minutes of footage of the recording of the 1980 Floor Show.
There are also other things besides Bowie, such as dancer rehearsals and Marianne Faithfull's recording, so I think you'll enjoy it.
Most of this also had no audio, but it has been largely restored by adding the audio from the main film.
