April 28, 2000, marked a historic live performance. Eric Clapton made a surprise guest appearance at Santana's Budokan show. Reports indicate that Clapton, who was visiting Japan privately to watch martial arts matches, heard that Santana was touring the country and decided to join the concert. The audience, unaware of the surprise beforehand, was absolutely electrified. The setlist featured a mix of Santana's classic and contemporary hits, and the collaboration with Eric Clapton made it a truly superb concert.
