This release features a complete, ultra-high-quality audience recording of the opening night of the "CARCASS Live in TOKYO 2026" tour, held at Toyosu PIT in Tokyo on September 17, 2026. Boasting superb sound quality derived from the label's original high-fidelity master—further enhanced by meticulous remastering—this is truly the definitive title for the 2026 Japan tour.

Amidst the palpable heat generated by a packed crowd of metalheads, Carcass—absolute titans of goregrind and melodic death metal—delivered a ferocious performance where a relentless storm of heavy sound intersected with a cool, uncompromising aesthetic.

Bill Steer’s riffs retained the brutal, ominous atmosphere of the band's early days while simultaneously unleashing the fluid, melodic twin-lead harmonies that have been their trademark since the *Heartwork* era. Meanwhile, Jeff Walker commanded the venue with his piercing growls; between songs, he delighted the audience with his signature brand of dark humor and sardonic banter, showcasing his unique charisma.

Classics like "Buried Dreams" and "Incarnated Solvent Abuse" were unleashed early on, instantly igniting a massive mosh pit across the vast Toyosu PIT floor. Solid tracks from their latest album *Torn Arteries*—such as "Dance of Ixtab"—fit seamlessly into the set, captivating the audience with a high-density performance that distilled the band's history without a wasted moment.

The intricate yet explosive blast beats driven by drummer Daniel Wilding and the precision-attack of the twin guitars... Beneath the raw brutality lies a meticulously crafted ensemble beauty, allowing you to relive a flawless performance honed to the precision of a surgeon's scalpel.

The thunderous climax—cascading from the final track "Heartwork" into "Die in Pain" and "Carneous Cacoffiny"—ignited a frenzy and a massive sing-along that shook the very foundations of Toyosu PIT.

The included bonus DVD features complete audience-shot footage of the concert. With steady camerawork offering a clear, unobstructed view of the entire stage, you can enjoy the full performance without any visual distraction.
