This release features high-quality soundboard recordings of B.B. King's matinee and evening performances at the Fillmore East on June 19, 1971. The period spanning the late 1960s through the 1970s marked the peak of "Blues Boy's" career; it was a time when he created legends and profoundly influenced countless artists, achieving milestones such as winning a Grammy for the single "The Thrill is Gone" and landing numerous tracks on the hit charts. While he famously performed around 300 shows a year, his live performances from around 1971 are particularly highly acclaimed.
