This release captures the first night of Aerosmith’s 2004 Japan tour, held on July 10th at the Sapporo Dome in Sapporo, Japan. This marked their ninth tour of Japan and their first-ever concert in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Following the March release of their covers album, *Honkin' on Bobo*, the 2004 tour served as a promotional run for the record. The setlist features tracks from the new album alongside classic hits, resulting in a straightforward, highly accessible rock 'n' roll experience. As it was the opening night of the tour, the band is in excellent form, making for a truly superb live performance. Although the recording is an audience source, it is of exceptional quality; it lacks the excessive reverberation often found in large-venue recordings, offering instead great clarity and a direct, immediate sound. With no distracting audience noise, the recording maintains a consistently high level of audio quality throughout.
