This set features complete recordings of both performances by Whitesnake—who alternated as the headlining act—captured via top-tier audience sources.

Disc 1 contains the performance from the first day, August 8th. While recordings from this day have surfaced before, the source used for this release is completely different from any previously available versions. Despite being an outdoor recording from the 80s, it is remarkably clear and free from the noisy, harsh quality often associated with the cassette era! Moreover, the bass is well-defined, ensuring that the all-important "impact of the performance" remains intact! This is a superb-quality source—well worth purchasing again even if you already own a copy of this show!
Since Whitesnake headlined the first day, the set includes Cozy’s drum solo and concludes with "We Wish Well."

Disc 2 features the August 9th Osaka show—the second day of the tour—which makes its debut here. Like the first day, the source quality is excellent! Any fan of the Japan tour recordings should grab this! Both discs are essential for fans!
This is a definitive release that is absolutely indispensable for any collection!

Fans were already amazed when Whitesnake’s two sets at Seibu Stadium during "Super Rock '84 in Japan" were released on DVD-R; now, the performances from August 8th and 9th have been released on CD-R using previously unreleased audio sources.
Disc 1 covers the August 8th show—where Whitesnake served as the headliner—kicking off with David’s call of "Konbanwa, Osaka!"
Considering it is an outdoor recording from that era, the sound quality is excellent for an audience tape. It holds up well even when compared to previously released recordings of the same show.
While the setlist is similar to other dates, the fact that they were the headliners means we get to hear Cozy’s drum solo—a real treat.
The classic track played after the famous song [◯] is—unsurprisingly—a masterpiece in its own right. John Sykes’s guitar solo on [◯] is also scorching!
Hearing the audience sing along with their "Katakana-English" refrains evokes a sense of nostalgia and truly captures the atmosphere of the 80s. On the final track, David delivers a passionate vocal performance that elevates the band's playing to a fever pitch—a fitting climax for the show. [Disc-2] features the performance from the 9th; since MSG was the headline act that day, the show kicked off while it was still light outside with David calling out, "Konnichiwa!" (Hello!).
Although this is an audience recording, the sound quality is excellent—just like the previous day's—and this marks the first time this specific recording has surfaced.
While the setlist is the same, the absence of Cozy’s drum solo results in a runtime that is about 10 minutes shorter; nevertheless, you can hear every band member delivering a passionate, full-throttle performance.
After the show ended, an audience member could be heard mimicking David’s closing remarks—"Domo arigato. Mata aimashou! Domo, domo!" (Thank you very much. Let's meet again! Thanks, thanks!)—and one wonders what that person is doing now.
Capturing Whitesnake’s two-day run in Osaka, this release is sure to be a cherished memento for anyone who attended the concerts.
