This release captures Van Halen’s 1984 European tour. It took place during the promotional cycle for the album *1984*—the final record to feature vocalist David Lee Roth, who would depart the band in the spring of 1985, making this his last tour with the group. With all of their previous albums having been massive hits, the shows were consistently sold out; the intense energy from the audiences makes this a quintessential rock concert experience.
