A complete recording of the concerts held in Osaka on March 24 and 25, 2008—part of the miraculous joint tour featuring Toto and Boz Scaggs—captured in superb, ultra-high audio quality!
The vocals are clearly defined and upfront, while the rich low-end and immersive atmosphere are flawless; it is a recording that perfectly captures the live experience! Perhaps due to the collaboration with Boz or the decision to go on an indefinite hiatus, David Paich joined this tour as a special guest!

As for the content, it feels like a further refinement of the "Falling In Between" tour that began in 2006, showcasing arrangements and performances designed to maximize audience excitement!
Paich's participation doubles the fun and entertainment value; hearing him sing lead vocals on "Africa" is a real treat! For the encore, Boz Scaggs and the backing vocalists joined in, bringing the show to a close with a Beatles cover!

On the first night in Osaka, the crowd's enthusiasm was incredible; the band members seemed surprised and were in high spirits throughout! It was a wonderful, energetic performance filled with a sense of unity!
The audience was a bit more subdued on the second day, but perhaps buoyed by the previous night's success, Lukather engaged the crowd with MC in the Osaka dialect and even sang a brief jazz-style tune before launching into "I’ll Supply The Love."
And the highlight of the day! The horn section from Boz's band joined in for "Rosanna," recreating that classic original studio sound with live instruments!
It was a truly magnificent performance—a rare, must-hear take that is guaranteed to give you goosebumps! It appears to have been a one-shot performance with no rehearsal, and the band members themselves seem deeply moved. Naturally, the audience is also going wild with thunderous cheers!

While the setlist remains the same across both days, the band introductions and the playful banter between songs differ, guaranteeing a great time! It also includes the March 24th performance of "Breakdown Dead Ahead," featuring a collaboration between Boz, Lukather, and Paich!
It is a shame that the encore from the 25th isn't included... but given that this venue hosted their very first Osaka show, these two days in Osaka were deeply memorable for both the band and their local fans.
I can confidently say this is a must-have commemorative item for fans!
