The Roger Scott Master Collection, alongside the John Barrett Tapes, is a collection of Beatles studio outtakes that were leaked from Abbey Road Studios. In the 1980s, engineer John Barrett investigated the Beatles' session tapes and aired them on "The Abbey Road Show." Roger Scott, who served as the DJ at the time, later broadcast some of the session recordings on his radio show, and the recordings he had secretly kept became the source material for the well-known Ultra Rare Tracks and Answer Past Masters. The recordings included in this collection are the best quality ever, with many previously unreleased versions and mixes, including cut sections and newly discovered material that has been added and corrected, thanks to the latest editing. Furthermore, it includes rare recordings and edited versions that were aired on the radio show "Sgt. Pepper's - History of the Beatles."
