Slipknot’s own festival, "Knotfest," finally arrived in Japan! Slipknot performed as the headliner on both days of the two-day event (November 15 and 16). This release features a complete recording of the performance from the first day, November 15, created by mixing the four distinct In-Ear Monitor (IEM) feeds used by the band members on stage. The audio quality is astounding—virtually indistinguishable from a professional soundboard recording. While some might argue it lacks the raw intensity of a typical live document due to the absence of audience-sourced ambient sound or crowd noise, one listen reveals a true stereo soundboard-quality experience. You will undoubtedly be overwhelmed by the incredibly clear audio, featuring fully separated left-right guitars, crisp and solid vocals, and perfect drum imaging—from the positioning of the toms to the cymbals. As for the setlist, the band selected five songs from their recently released album, *The Gray Chapter* (including the opening intro "XIX"), with the majority of these tracks concentrated in the first half of the show. The latter half of the show is packed with classic hits; as this was a two-day event, the setlist underwent significant changes, with "Eeyore," "Liberate," "Purity," and "Left Behind" included in the lineup for this particular day.
