This release captures the August 5, 1990, Heerenveen performance from the Nude Tour via a high-quality audience recording. The concert is particularly interesting due to several changes made to the setlist. For "The Future," Tony M performs the "The Flow" rap for the first time on this tour. Following "Kiss," there is bluesy guitar work reminiscent of "Blues In C," and the performance of "Purple Rain" extends to nearly ten minutes—an unusually long duration for this tour—featuring an intense, extended guitar solo that includes a "Live 4 Love" call-and-response section rarely heard in this context. Conversely, the performance of "Alphabet St." is very brief; it omits the usual "Cat Rap," the rap from "The Latest Fashion," and the interpolation of "It Takes Two." After singing "...and drive her to Tennessee," Prince teases the end of the song before restarting it, ad-libbing funky phrases, and playing while clearly enjoying the audience's reaction. Additionally, during "Partyman," Prince sings a snippet of "Release It."
