The grand finale! "Guitar Wars"—an event that was a dream come true for guitar fans—brought together popular guitarists Paul Gilbert, Nuno Bettencourt, and Steve Hackett, along with John Wetton.
This release features a complete, ultra-high-quality recording of the September 1, 2003, Osaka performance, capturing the atmosphere perfectly!
While the basic setlist remains the same, the song order in Steve Hackett's segment is slightly different for some reason! Also, Nuno spends nearly seven minutes introducing the band members and crew!
Since it was the final day and the show had gone off without a hitch, the band members were in a relaxed mood! Nuno's main segment, in particular, is full of playful improvisation!
The show spans a full three hours; while there are designated "main" artists, the lineup constantly shifts, creating an incredible, dynamic experience!
A major highlight is Gary Cherone appearing during Nuno's segment to belt out Extreme's "Get The Funk Out" and "More Than Words"—a moment sure to bring tears of joy to fans! Paul Gilbert also performs Mr. Big songs with surprising, unique arrangements—a must-hear for any fan!
