Following her appearance at Summer Sonic, the young female guitarist Orianthi returned to Japan! This release features a complete recording of the final show of her 2010 Japan tour—the December 10th performance in Osaka—captured in superb, high-fidelity sound that delivers incredible impact and a vivid sense of being there. The show was completely sold out, and the venue was electric with excitement! In addition to tracks from her latest album, she performed two previously unreleased new songs: "Rock" and "How Does It Feel." She also included a tribute to Michael Jackson, featuring "You Are Not Alone," "Beat It," and "Give In To Me." During the outro of "He’s Gone," she even incorporated a riff from "Need You Tonight" by her fellow Australians, INXS. The instrumental jam during the band introductions—where each member takes a solo—features a cool, funky groove! Orianthi’s exceptional guitar work is, as expected, top-tier; on tracks like "Song For Steve" and the final encore, "Voodoo Chile," she plays with such intense, unbridled emotion!
There are also some heartfelt words of thanks—fitting for the final night of the tour—along with some charming, endearing stage banter! Beyond Orianthi’s own stellar vocals and guitar playing, the band’s tight performance and overall ensemble cohesion are truly fantastic!
