Oasis returned to Japan for the first time in about three and a half years, supporting their new album, *Dig Out Your Soul*! This release features complete recordings of both nights of their Osaka run—March 24th and 25th, 2009—captured in superb, high-fidelity sound that delivers incredible power and an immersive, "you-are-there" atmosphere.
The first night in Osaka, in particular, boasts a jaw-dropping, goosebump-inducing sound quality! The second night is also excellent—crystal clear and full of impact. This tour featured a change in the lineup, with Chris Sharrock (formerly of The La’s and others) taking over on drums from Zak Starkey. The Gallagher brothers were in fine form, delivering a consistently cool and solid performance from start to finish.
The acoustic version of "Whatever," performed by Noel, also makes an appearance here in Osaka—just as it did during the show in Sapporo! As Noel mentions during his MC, a special track was added to the setlist—exclusive to the Japan shows—serving as a delightful surprise for fans. During the encore, the highlight "Don’t Look Back in Anger" turned into a massive singalong, with Noel leaving the entire chorus to the audience—it’s truly goosebump-inducing! You can really feel that wonderful sense of unity. Other highlights include a back-to-back performance of "Slide Away" and "Morning Glory" in the middle of the set, a rare appearance of "Champagne Supernova," and a moment on the second night in Osaka where the band restarted the intro to "Wonderwall"—the entire show is packed with must-hear moments! While the setlist remains consistent, these two nights in Osaka are an absolute treat for die-hard fans. This latest tour is an essential listen—highly, highly recommended! A new memorial release from the Sylph label has arrived!

We are also offering a special, limited-quantity "Osaka 2-Days" bundle! It includes a DVD featuring a performance from the "BBC Electric Proms 2008" at the London Roundhouse—a vital entry in the *Dig Out Your Soul* tour’s pro-shot collection—which showcases the band alongside the 50-member Crouch End Festival Chorus. This DVD is sourced from the latest high-definition broadcast master, ensuring exceptional picture and sound quality.
Although it is not the complete, uncut performance, it does include subtitles, allowing you to enjoy Liam’s banter and a moment where Noel teases Daniel Craig—the actor who played James Bond—who was in the audience!
