Soundboard recording, live at Muziektheater Stopera, Amsterdam, The Netherlands – December 10, 1989

This 2-CD set features a stereo soundboard recording (sourced from an FM broadcast) of Neil Young’s December 10, 1989, performance in Amsterdam, Netherlands, during his 1989 acoustic European tour.
While he was accompanied by The Lost Dogs during his Japan tour that same year, this particular tour featured an acoustic performance with only Frank Sampedro and Ben Keith as his backing musicians. Although this concert has previously appeared on releases like those from the *Swingin’ Pig* label—and has also circulated as an audience recording—this version is sourced from a pre-FM master used for a 2007 rebroadcast. It is, without a doubt, the highest-quality soundboard recording of this show to date. Highly recommended as an excellent live document from Neil Young’s 1989 tour!
