This release pairs video and audio from the performance at this year's (as of 2026) North Sea Jazz Festival by "WE WANT MILES!"—a tribute group formed by Miles Davis alumni and led by Marcus Miller to commemorate the centenary of Miles's birth. Both the Blu-ray and CD feature the same audio, which has been remastered by the label. Although the group is anchored by musicians who supported Miles during his 1980s era, they also perform material from the 1960s, such as *In a Silent Way* and *Bitches Brew*. Before playing "In a Silent Way," Miller delivers an entertaining speech; as the song's intro begins, he touches upon the hippie culture of the time and how fans reacted to Miles's transformation into his electric phase in the late 60s, even playfully teasing guitarist Mike Stern by saying, "wearing nice clothes and growing your hair out like Mike Stern."
