This release captures the live performance from October 17, 2010, at the O2 Apollo in Manchester, UK, during Joe Satriani's 2010 European tour—which followed the conclusion of the supergroup Chickenfoot's tour and marked the start of his solo tour. As this tour served to promote his new album, *Black Swans & Wormhole Wizards*, he performed no fewer than eight tracks from it: "Light Years Away," "Premonition," "Pyrrhic Victoria," "Dream Song," "God Is Crying," "Littleworth Lane," "Wind In The Trees," and "Wormhole Wizards." Satriani showcases playing that is both beautiful and hard-hitting; he is truly a guitarist who is a sheer pleasure to listen to. The performance leaves the listener feeling refreshed and invigorated. Although this is an audience recording, the sound quality is exceptional—rivaling that of a soundboard (line) recording—with clear audio capturing both the music and the crowd's cheers perfectly.
