This release captures the live performance from Eric Clapton's World Tour—which began in January 2011—at the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington, USA, on February 26, 2011. The 2011 tour kicked off in the UK, traveled through Singapore, Taiwan, and South Korea, and then moved into a full-scale tour across the United States; this item documents the opening night of the US leg. Buoyed by the strong sales of the blues-focused covers album released in the autumn of 2010, Eric was in high spirits for this first US show. Perhaps because it marked the beginning of the year, the performance was nothing short of magnificent. A defining feature of this tour was the blues-centric setlist, characterized by bluesy arrangements and playing throughout; it is a concert packed with highlights where one can truly savor Eric's passionate guitar solos. Two tracks from the 2010 album—"River Runs Deep" and "When Somebody Thinks You're Wonderful"—were performed, both standing out as superb numbers that showcase Eric's unique style. Regarding sound quality, although this is an audience recording, the audio is excellent, offering a great balance between the crowd noise and the music. The mix is particularly pleasing to the ear, with a well-balanced sound for each instrument.
