This marked Eric Clapton's 11th tour of Japan. Following the massive success of his 1991 tour with George Harrison and the global smash hit of the 1992 *MTV Unplugged* album, this tour was truly a "Japan Unplugged" experience. While the setlist differs from the famous *Unplugged* album, the concert is defined by memorable acoustic numbers and Clapton’s deeply soulful, deliberate vocal delivery, which captivated the audience. It was a concert marked by spirited vocals, showcasing an Eric Clapton who poured his heart and soul into every single song. His performance of "Tears In Heaven"—written for his son who passed away in an accident—is deeply moving and brings listeners to tears. As for the sound quality, it is an audience recording and sounds somewhat distant, but the reverberation characteristic of a large hall provides a rich sense of realism.
