This release features a soundboard recording of Deep Purple’s performance at the Estadio Obras Sanitarias in Buenos Aires on March 3, 1997, during their South American tour. It captures the final show of their three-date run in Argentina. At this time, Jon Lord was still a member of the band, and following the 1994 addition of guitarist Steve Morse—who had contributed to the band's 1996 studio album—the group was highly active and motivated. Ian Gillan’s vocals are in excellent form, and the performance as a whole is powerful, showcasing the distinct playing styles of every member. The improvisations between Jon Lord and Steve Morse are particularly outstanding, making for a truly impressive set. The audio quality is derived from a soundboard (SBD) source, offering a consistently high-quality listening experience.
