Newly unearthed live recordings of David Bowie from 1972, the era when he took the UK by storm as Ziggy Stardust!

This release captures performances from two dates—July 15 and July 18, 1972—at the Friars Club in Aylesbury.

Unlike the world tour that followed, these shows are notable for their inclusion of cover songs alongside original material. Performances such as The Beatles' "This Boy," Cream's "I Feel Free," and The Who's "I Can’t Explain"—in addition to the usual Velvet Underground and Jacques Brel tracks—represent rare performances unique to this specific period. Both dates feature newly unearthed live recordings; while the sound quality—derived from period audience tapes—falls short of high-fidelity standards, they are unmissable documents of the early Ziggy Stardust UK tour!
