This release captures a live performance from Boz Scaggs' 2012 North American tour, recorded on March 2nd at the Red Robinson Show Theatre (Boulevard Casino) in Coquitlam, BC, Canada. Boz Scaggs is a leading figure in the AOR genre, and it is truly a delight that he has continued to tour regularly and showcase his wonderful AOR sound from his 1969 solo debut to the present day. Although he turned 68 that year, his melodic sound and distinctive vocals remain uniquely his own. Highly recommended. Regarding sound quality: while this is an audience recording, the venue appears to be relatively intimate; the recording is excellent, capturing a concert where the audience enjoyed the music without excessive rowdiness.
