This release captures Black Sabbath's 1983 US and European tours, as well as demos for *Born Again*—the only studio album released during Ian Gillan's tenure with the band. It offers a comprehensive look at the Black Sabbath era featuring Ian Gillan, who was with the group for only about a year and a half after leaving Deep Purple. Following the tenure of Ronnie, Black Sabbath recruited another big-name vocalist; fans had high expectations, and the band itself was energized by a vocal style distinct from Ronnie's, resulting in a superb rock experience. The excitement during the encore performance of "Smoke on the Water" is absolutely electric. The demos for the *Born Again* album are fascinating; despite being created in a short timeframe, they boast a high level of polish, offering a sound that differs from the final release and stands as a series of impressive performances in its own right. As for sound quality, the entire set utilizes soundboard (SBD) sources, ensuring a consistently high-fidelity listening experience.
