This Pure Funk recording was mastered from the original tapes, likely obtained from the original recorder, resulting in a vastly improved sound quality! This was Prince's last live performance with Dez Dickerson's band. Perhaps reflecting his sadness at the loss of another member of Prince's early lineup, he plays \"Free\" less and more wistfully. However, since this was his final live performance, he plays a compilation of his work to date, particularly the three wonderful tracks D.M.S.R., Sexuality, and \"Let's Pretend We're Married\" in one live performance, resulting in a longer show than ever before.
