While the audio—captured from the audience—has a slightly gritty texture, it offers a strong sense of surround-like immersion. For fans of this style of music, the lineup alone is enough to bring a smile to your face: you have the powerhouse composing duo of Carla Bley and Michael Mantler, joined by Soft Machine’s Elton Dean and free-jazz trombonist Roswell Rudd, with the legendary Hugh Hopper (also of Soft Machine) on bass. The repertoire spans everything from free jazz to jazz-rock numbers like \"Wrong Key Donkey.\" This is an essential listen for fans of ECM, free jazz, and jazz-rock.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"NECROMANCER","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":67848161263915,"sku":null,"price":39.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1009\/0846\/6475\/files\/1_6c56ef69-94f6-4aa3-9bdb-8784d5b35abc.webp?v=1792711184","url":"https:\/\/wmlshopjapan.com\/ja\/products\/the-carla-bley-band-european-tour-1977-festival-jazz-ad-alassio-2cdr","provider":"WML Shop","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
