True to the members’ exceptional talent, the performance feels less like “Jeff Beck with a backing band” and more like each member making their own powerful statement. The high-energy performance hits hard right from the start, getting the audience incredibly excited, and Jeff Beck’s solo is absolutely awesome. They performed “Jody,” “New Ways Train Train,” and “Situation” from the new album *Rough And Ready*, while the rest of the set consisted of songs from the first-generation Jeff Beck Group era; Bob Tench delivered a superb vocal performance, making this an outstanding debut tour.
