The World Rock Festival held at that time featured a lineup of artists that would be unthinkable today. Performers included Japan’s Creation and Yonin Bayashi, as well as Felix Pappalardi—famous for producing Cream—from the U.S., and Joe Yamanaka, who was active in the U.S. at the time. The live event lasted for over half a day. The first night of the Japan tour, on August 3 in Sapporo, was performed without a rehearsal due to a delayed flight. However, for this concert at Korakuen Stadium, Jeff Beck actually performed while suffering from a high fever. Perhaps because he was feeling unwell, he put even more passion into the performance. Although the number of songs didn’t quite match the August 5th show in Nagoya, you could really feel the high energy in each member’s playing—it truly felt like “this is Jeff Beck,” and you’re drawn in by the intensity of their performance. Due to the strain of that day’s performance, the two subsequent shows were canceled, making the August 7th concert at Korakuen Stadium effectively the final day of his second-ever tour of Japan. Although Jeff Beck’s banter was minimal, you can fully savor his spirited performance. The sound quality is from an audience recording, but the recording quality is so poor you might mistake it for an AM radio broadcast. Please enjoy the final day of Jeff Beck’s second-ever Japan tour in 1975.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"PHOENIX","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":54934547497259,"sku":null,"price":47.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1009\/0846\/6475\/files\/1_1d7c32fe-cb5b-45f8-b628-c6cb701609b2.jpg?v=1785974513","url":"https:\/\/wmlshopjapan.com\/it\/products\/jeff-beck-group-world-rock-festival-eastland-korakuen-stadium-tokyo-1cdr","provider":"WML Shop","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
