The audience section is a step down in quality from the soundboard portion, but both parts offer sound quality that collectors will find thoroughly enjoyable. This period marked a relatively stable time for the band—which often saw fluid lineup changes beyond the core duo of Wayne Shorter and Joe Zawinul—and is arguably the era most beloved by fans, thanks to the presence of Jaco Pastorius.
